28th Feb Seeker Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Fareham. PO16
ONQ. Our Vocations Promotion team invites you to join
them for a regular Seeker Saturday, 11am-3pm.
Pope Leo XIV recently called for the creation of
communities where young people can feel accepted,
listened to, and encouraged in their vocational
discernment. Our regular gathering for Seeker Saturday
gather for exactly that purpose. If you are discerning if the
Lord is calling you to the priesthood, diaconate
or religious life, then spending time with like-minded
people can be really beneficial to any vocational
journey. Our time together includes prayer, discussion,
Mass, Adoration and lunch too.
To find out more about this regular event or to enquiry
about attending (as booking is required) please
email vocations@portsmouthdiocese.org.uk
7.00 pm Our annual Volunteers Thank You meal straight after
Saturday evening Mass. If you freely give your time to any
event to support the parish, from singing in the choir,
cleaning the church, maintaining our beautiful gardens,
counting the coins, in fact any supportive role for the life of
our church then you are invited. Please email johnmcc-
2010@hotmail.co.uk
so we have an idea of numbers.

June Buckfast Abbey Retreat
For anyone who would like to join us on retreat at Buckfast
Abbey, there are still four rooms available as part of our
booking of the whole hotel from 22nd to 26th June 2026.
This will be our third visit to Buckfast Abbey. Previous
retreats have proved to be very relaxed and restful with
time to make the most of the spiritual activities available
to us: Monastery daily prayer times, Lectio Divina,
Morning mass, and meaningful, inspirational, spiritual
reflections led by Father Jeremy. All on offer but completely
voluntary. The peaceful atmosphere of Buckfast Abbey and
gardens enhances all we do, with everything close at hand
but by no means enclosed.
Please contact Margaret Whyte margaret@mwhyte.co.uk or
Trevor Nee trev.pat@ntlworld.com for cost and further
details. Deposits will be requested from 8th Dec.
